One player Bulls fans should keep an eye on during Summer League is Jaylin Sellers . After going undrafted in the 2026 NBA Draft, the Chicago Bulls signed Sellers to a two-way contract, and I think he has a real opportunity to surprise people.
Sellers capped off his college career with a breakout season at Providence, averaging 18.3 points per game while shooting 42.9% from 3-point range and 85.9% from the free-throw line. His strong play earned him All-Big East Second Team honors during the 2025-26 season.

Before transferring to Providence, the Columbus, Georgia, native spent his junior season at UCF, where he averaged 15.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.1 steals across 33 games. He also had a productive start to his college career at Ball State, earning MAC All-Freshman Team honors in 2021-22 before being named All-MAC Third Team the following season.
What really stands out to me about Sellers is his offensive versatility. The 6-foot-5 left-handed guard is capable of scoring at all three levels. He can knock down the 3-pointer, attack downhill, and finish through contact at the rim. With Caleb Wilson and Dailyn Swain joining the Bulls' young core, I'm excited to see how Sellers fits alongside them during Summer League.
As much as I like his offensive game, I'm actually looking forward to seeing his defensive effort the most.

During a recent press conference, Sellers said:
"I can score with the best of them, but my main thing is going to step in and shut people's water off."
One of the quickest ways for an undrafted rookie or two-way player to earn minutes in the NBA is by defending at a high level. Sellers already believes in his ability to score, but the fact that he's emphasizing defense tells me he understands what it takes to stick in this league.
Defense translates regardless of the level you're playing at. Summer League offense can be chaotic, and a lot of players are trying to prove they can score. Once the regular season begins, roles become much more defined, and many of those scoring opportunities disappear. The players who consistently find minutes are usually the ones who defend, compete and do the little things that don't always show up in the box score.

If he can continue knocking down open shots while bringing energy on the defensive end, he'll allow himself to move from a two-way contract into the Bulls' regular rotation over time. The Bulls have done a solid job identifying young talent this offseason, and sometimes the best pickups aren't always the players selected on draft night—they're the ones who go overlooked and use that as motivation.
I'm really excited to watch Sellers develop throughout Summer League and see how his game translates against NBA competition. Chicago opens Summer League on July 10 at 8 p.m. CDT against the Memphis Grizzlies , and he'll definitely be one of the players I watch closely.
