Josh Allen finally has a WR1. After the Bills traded Stefon Diggs , Allen has been throwing to a wide receiver committee without a true number one. Now, Moore, who was looking for a better opportunity, has one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL throwing to him. Allen is the biggest winner from this trade, as the Bills have finally found him a WR1.
Loser: Khaili Shakir

Khalil Shakir is the biggest loser with Moore going to Buffalo. Instead of being Allen's top target, Shakir now falls one spot down the depth chart. The 26-year-old wide receiver will still have targets in Buffalo's offense moving forward, but it won't be in a premier role. Shakir will share the targets with Moore now.

Winner: Luther Burden, Rome Odunze

Bears wide receivers Luther Burden and Rome Odunze will have more opportunities moving forward. With Moore out of the picture, Burden and Odunze will have more targets unless Chicago brings in another big-name wide receiver. The Bears know what they have with Burden and Odunze, and it's time for them to shine even more.
Loser: New England Patriots

The New England Patriots need a wide receiver after releasing Diggs, and Moore was mentioned as a possible target. Instead, the Bears traded its star wide receiver to New England 's arch rival, taking a good option off the board. The Patriots have other options available, but Buffalo beat them to the punch for Moore.

The Bills front office has been under scrutiny for firing Sean McDermott and not surrounding Allen with weapons. Well, that has come to an end. Buffalo finally has a true number one wide receiver for its star quarterback. The Bills might not be done at acquiring wide receivers either. Allen and company are excited about this move, and it raises the Bills' odds going into the 2026-27 NFL season.
