The New York Yankees may have a new face in their bullpen this season.
His name is Kervin -- yes, Kervin -- Castro, and he's a 27-year old right-handed pitcher from Venezuela.
He pitched in the Yankees' organization at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barres a season ago. For the Railriders, he had a 1.53 ERA in 35 games.
The Yankees then added Castro to the 40-man roster over the winter, which suggests they're at least considering him as an option for the MLB 'pen.
"Kervin's gotten my attention," Yankees manager Aaron Boone said, via MLB.com .

The Yankees have two spots open in the bullpen, MLB.com attributes to Boone.
That will be behind David Bednar , Paul Blackburn , Fernando Cruz , Camilo Doval , Tim Hill and Ryan Yarbrough .
Competing with Castro include Jake Bird , Brent Headrick and Cade Winquest.
Castro has pitched in the majors before, but not since 2022.
He made his debut in 2021 with the San Francisco Giants and had a 0.00 ERA in 10 games.
He then gave up five runs in just 1.2 innings for the Giants in 2022 and moved on to the Chicago Cubs , where he had a 7.59 ERA in eight appearances.
Castro is looking to get back to the majors for the first time since then.
He pitched in 2023 at Triple-A Toledo in the Tigers' organization, then missed the entire 2024 season before his time with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in 2025.
Now, he wants a return to the show.
