Cleveland Browns mock draft

The Browns go into the draft with six picks overall. Here's a look at what they could do using the Pro Football Focus mock draft simulator .

Round 2 - Pick 54 - Kris Jenkins, DT, Michigan

The way this mock shook out, there were a lot of options. So many that if it were reality, it's the type of scenario where Browns General Manager Andrew Berry could trade back. Among those considered were wide receivers Roman Wilson (Michigan) and Ricky Pearsall (Florida), linebacker Edgerrin Cooper (Texas A&M) and defensive tackle Braden Fiske (Florida State).

Round 3 - Pick 85 - Blake Fisher , OT, Notre Dame

At just over 21, Fisher is one of the younger players in the draft. If the Browns decide that Jedrick Wills Jr. isn't the future at left tackle, Fisher could be groomed as a replacement.

Round 5 - Pick 156 - Jaheim Bell , TE, Florida State

Bell is a do-everything type of player who can line up at tight end with his hand down, in the slot and even as a fullback. With Nick Harris ' departure in free agency, the occasional fullback is an unspoken need for the Browns.

Round 6 - Pick 206 - Curtis Jacobs , LB, Penn State

Day 3 of the draft is about finding depth, special teams players and if you're lucky a gem. Jacobs fits all those. The 6-foot-1, 241-pound Jacobs started 36 games for Penn State and was a five-star recruit out of high school.

A member of the draft's all-name team, Means averaged 17.2 yards per catch in college and had 10 touchdowns. Ironically enough, The Athletic's Dane Brugler refers to Means as "a discounted version of Cedric Tillman ."

Round 7 - Pick 243 - Tarheeb Still, CB, Maryland

If the Browns do move on from cornerback Greg Newsome II , they could take a flyer on a late-round cornerback like Still. He's another player who has yet to turn 22.
