Worthy turned heads after the speedy wideout broke John Ross' combine 40-yard dash record with a 4.21-second mark on his second attempt.
"I definitely knew I had a chance," Worthy said to USA TODAY Sports after he broke the 40 record . "I didn't know it was gonna happen in reality. I came in knowing I was gonna run nothing slower than 4.25…When I ran a 4.25 on my first one, I knew I was gonna break it. Because when I was training, I always ran faster on my second 40. So I knew I was gonna run faster on that second 40."

The defending-champion Chiefs are getting an explosive wide receiver who can separate from coverage and be a legitimate vertical threat. He's also confident that he's now the fastest player in the NFL .
"I feel like I bring an explosive dynamic to the offense and a good vibe to the team," Worthy said at the NFL combine.
