A 6-foot-7, 310-pounder from Buford (Georgia) High, Jacobs became Clemson's ninth commitment for the 2025 class, which is now ranked No. 3 nationally behind Notre Dame and LSU .
Jacobs' father, Brandon Jacobs , played college ball at Auburn and Southern Illinois before playing in the NFL for nine seasons with the Giants, Patriots and 49ers.
Later on Sunday, Jacobs was joined by Jaylan Beckley of Addison, Texas , who also announced his intentions via X.
Beckley, who's 6-3, 305, also is a basketball standout at Trinity Christian Academy. He became Clemson's 10th commit for the 2025 class by picking the Tigers over Auburn, Georgia, Florida State , LSU, Oklahoma , Tennessee and Texas A&M , among others.
Jacobs is rated as the No. 17 offensive tackle nationally and the No. 24 overall prospect among players of all positions in the state of Georgia, according to the 247Sports Composite.
