CLEVELAND — Evan Mobley doing his best Julius Erving impression while the Philadelphia 76ers visited the Cavaliers qualifies as apropos.
With 10:34 left in the third quarter of the Cavs' 126-99 win on Saturday night, Mobley drove to the basket against forward KJ Martin and then dunked over Martin and center Andre Drummond as they contested.
"That was like Dr. J," Cavs coach Kenny Atkinson said. "He took it with one, left hand. It was like Nerf basketball. He's just a talented, talented dude."
The poster dunk is among the favorites on Mobley's resume, the 7-foot forward said. Mobley also revealed he "blacked out" after the highlight play.
"I haven't got that high [off the ground] in years, I would say, so it felt good," Mobley said.
Mobley scored 22 points on 10-of-14 shooting from the field and recorded game highs in rebounds (13) and assists (seven) to go along with two steals and one blocked shot in 30 minutes to help the Cavs (25-4) rout the Sixers (9-17).

As for Atkinson's Dr. J reference, the 23-year-old Mobley approved.
"I can see it," Mobley said. "Look at the extension gripping the ball. Yeah, that dunk felt good."
