CLEVELAND — The American League Championship Series has new life.
After a wild, back-and-forth, walk-off 7-5 win by the Guardians in Game 3, Cleveland now has a chance to even the series Friday night before its home crowd at Progressive Field.
Game 3 was filled with monster home runs and stunning moments. Game 4 has a lot of work to equal what was an instant classic Thursday night.
Guardians-Yankees ALCS series, Game 4 predictions
Lewis:The Guardians were buried in Game 3 and came back with one of the most thrilling, stunning comeback wins you'll ever see. They were moments away from being down 3-0. The series was just about finished. Now, they couldn't have more momentum heading into Game 4, with a chance to even the series 2-2. Gavin Williams is a major question mark, but the Guardians simply have a knack for fighting back. I'll take Cleveland to win Game 4, 4-3.
Ulrich: The Guardians bounced back in Game 3 after this exercise telegraphed they would. However, Cleveland's Game 4 starting pitcher Gavin Williams has had "a roller coaster" ride of a season by his own admission. Williams delivering a victory in his first career postseason appearance would be a great story, yet it's a tough ask against the powerful Yankees. New York 4-2 in Game 4.
