- Cole Adams injury update: Alabama football wide receiver injured in game vs Missouri
Cole Adams left the game early in the first quarter during Alabama football's game against Missouri Saturday.
The Alabama wide receiver was blocking on a 4-yard reception by tight end C.J. Dipree, and was hit from behind by a Missouri defender.
Adams was helped off the field by the training staff. He was later carted off the field with a boot on his left foot.
After the game, Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer said Adams has a "lower extremity injury." He expects Adams to be out for some time.
Adams is listed as the backup slot receiver behind Kendrick Law and Kobe Prentice .
Adams did not have a target or reception for the Crimson Tide Saturday. In 2024, he had six receptions for 94 yards.
Adams left Alabama's win against South Florida and missed the Wisconsin game with an arm injury.
