The Crew have re-signed veteran goalkeeper Evan Bush to a one-year contract following the expiration of his previous contract at the end of the 2024 season.
"I am excited to return for 2025 with a group that is hungry to continue the momentum we have built in recent years," Bush said in a statement. "I look forward to seeing how high this group can go in the coming season."
Bush, 38, was traded to Columbus from the Vancouver Whitecaps in December 2020 and most recently signed a one-year contract with the Crew following the club's 2023 MLS Cup victory.
In April, Bush suffered a left broken arm while starting against Real Salt City. Bush was on track to return near the end of June, but rebroke his arm, requiring surgery and keeping him sidelined until the MLS Cup playoffs.
Prior to the injury, Bush started two games and recorded eight saves.
This marks the Crew's first offseason signing of this year, with MLS free agency starting on Dec. 12.
