Tyran Stokes enters his freshman campaign at Kansas as the consensus number-one recruit and projected top overall draft pick in college basketball. While fellow award favorites face congested frontcourts, questionable continuity, or talent drop-offs, Stokes has the green light to command the Jayhawks' offense and post monster individual numbers. His sheer playmaking ability and dominant frame make him the most dangerous player in the sport and a premier value to capture National Player of the Year honors.

While Trey Kaufman-Renn is still settling in with the Kansas basketball team, Bill Self thinks he is already ahead of the curve in one key area.
