What is the NFL combine 40-yard dash record?
We got to witness history at this combine as Texas' Xavier Worthy set a new record Saturday by running the 40-yard dash in 4.21 seconds.
Worthy's run broke the record set by Washington wide receiver John Ross , who in 2017 ran a 4.22 40-yard dash, which surpassed the previous record set by former NFL running back Chris Johnson in 2008. Johnson ran a 4.24 40-yard dash and was later drafted by the Tennessee Titans .
