- NFL's highest-paid WRs: The top 33 wide receiver salaries for 2023 season
When the Kansas City Chiefs traded Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins in March 2022, the move also set a benchmark for compensation for wide receivers.
A four-year, $120 million contract put Hill in an elite class among the highest-paid non-quarterbacks in the league. Only San Francisco 49ers edge rusher Nick Bosa ( $34 million per year ) and Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald ( $31.6 million per year ) make more among non-quarterbacks.

For a brief period of time, Davante Adams held the title of league's highest-paid wide receiver. Adams' trade from the Green Bay Packers to the Las Vegas Raiders a week before Hill's move to Miami netted the three-time All-Pro a yearly compensation of $28 million.
