Saturday was a positive step forward for the North Carolina Tar Heels, getting a much-needed win by beating Syracuse 88-82 in New York. UNC needed a win to stay on the bubble and potentially save any hopes of getting to the NCAA Tournament.
Although UNC led from start to finish, they held off a late Syracuse run to close out the game. It was refreshing to see them close out a game and get a win, rather than going into a scoring drought and struggling. This game doesn't get them into the field by any means, but it kept them alive and that's all that matters.
Lets see how social media reacted to North Carolina's win over Syracuse as the season winds down.
