Pope Francis is the newest Vegas Golden Knights fan. (Twitter//@GoldenKnights)
Sin City and The Pope... and no this isn't the start of a joke.
The Vegas Golden Knights gained one of the holiest of fans in Pope Francis, taking to their Twitter account to share this wholesome moment on Friday afternoon.
Pope Francis looked very happy to receive the custom jersey, hopefully he can't watch highlights from their Game 7 over in Vatican City. If Vegas wins the Cup next season, it could be that they have more than just the Hockey Gods on their side now.
I mean at least he's not a fan of the Devils?
