Why Parker Washington is the receiver to draft in Jacksonville

When Parker Washington, Jakobi Meyers, Brian Thomas were all on the field together last year, Parker Washington had a team high 31% target share, 3.17 yards per route run.
And you know, just like the mix and match versed fit that I'm wearing right now of a long sleeve with shorts, we know that Parker Washington can play outside, can play inside.
This is exactly the type of piece that you want at the wide receiver spot.
63% of his snaps last year were in the slot with that personal grouping I, I, I mentioned, and that's exactly what, what we want from Liam Cohen.
We know the history he has with slot wide receivers and especially ones that work into like that 10 to 15 intermediate portion of the field.
I just think Parker Washington, if he wasn't a later round NFL draft pick, more and more and more people would continue to get on board with him.
I mean, my, my rankings are probably pretty absurd with him.
I have him 55th overall.
He's going 64th in consensus rankings right now, and I just think he's going to emerge as the go-to player for this high-powered Jacksonville Jaguars offense.
I mean, we already saw it happen down the stretch last year and the schedule was easy.
The schedule was easy again for the whole season this year, the sixth easiest fantasy schedule for receivers.
I don't really see where the argument against him comes from at this point because you could have gone into this offseason and said, okay, other guys are stepping up.
The coaching staff's talking everyone up.
Maybe he's not going to be that guy.
It's the complete opposite.
It's Liam Cohen saying that he's texting him after hours and that he's getting a response about how he's ready to kill for him and all this stuff.
They are fired up about him being the number one receiver there.
And again, going back to like what I said about Chase Brown, where you want everything pointing in the right direction.
We're hearing it from the coaching staff.
We've seen it happen before last season.
Like from a fantasy perspective, he was great.
90 yards end or a touchdown in five of his last seven games was the wide receiver 19 and fantasy points per game over the final nine weeks.
Those are great, great numbers to get from a guy that's going very much later than that in drafts.
I think analyst wise, I think a lot of people have been on him.
We've talked about him quite a bit.
We've, we've really been trying to push him up.
He's go- still going 76th overall on Yahoo right now.
That's the thing.
He's being surprised- Yep by where the ADP is because it's not catching up.
I don't know why people aren't listening to us, Josh, but they should.
Well, actually, I mean, it's, it was in the 90s to start.
It was.
So it has got- definitely gotten pushed up a little, which the 90s, that was, that was insane.
Yes.
Well, and, and where you're getting him, you're not getting him expecting him to be your wide receiver two or even wide receiver one.
You're getting him as a wide receiver three, maybe even a flex play, and yet he has that clear upside that he's already shown.
