2027 NFL Mock Draft: Chargers Select Jeremiah Smith No.1 | Arch Manning Replaces Justin Herbert?

Should the Los Angeles Chargers draft Jeremiah Smith No. 1 overall to give Justin Herbert a new weapon, or trade down for more picks in the 2027 NFL Draft? This seven-round Chargers mock draft is hosted by PFN's Max Chadwick, who rejects multiple trade offers to select the Ohio State receiver first overall. Then comes a surprising second-round decision: Arch Manning at No. 33, potentially backing up Herbert or becoming a future trade asset. Max also targets offensive line help with Utah's Zereoue Williams and Houston's Sugar Ray Hurst. He adds defensive help with A.J. Holmes Jr. and Ben Roberts, selects explosive running back Isaac Brown to complement Omarion Hampton, and closes with an edge rusher.
