How, how confident are you in this supporting cast right now, Joe?
'Cause I have to be honest, man, I'm a little worried about the supporting cast around Lamar Jackson right now.
A little worried.
Well, I think that the, the real fear that comes into place here is losing Pinter the way that they did during the preseason.
There was kinda It w- you're already in a bad spot when you lose Tyler Linderbaum, and h- he was literally the perfect center for what they ran.
It needs to be recognized more how important that is to have a guy like that.
But then trying to replace him with a guy like Danny Pinter, there already was gonna be a drop-off.
So then now you're moving on to Ethan Pocic, and we're taking another step down on available players.
I feel as though when you're dropping off a starting center, your offensive line play with all the problems that you had last year is going to be a gigantic question mark.
I have no idea if we should just assume that Derrick Henry is gonna be able to keep running the way that he does.
A- again, I, we, everybody keeps saying that, but he's 33 years old.
Are we just going to let that collapse and that disappearance hit us like a brick?
Like, is that what this is going to, to look like for us?
May- maybe he does end up having another productive season this upcoming year, but to me, there's not really much of a difference in the available weaponry because this has been a pretty similar skill position group for Lamar Jackson that he's had in the past.
It's not like they've lost anyone significant.
You could complain about Z Flowers getting the contract that he did, and you could be worried about Rashod Bateman's off-the-field issues.
At the same time, there's still talent there.
