George McIntyre Is NOT to Blame for Tennessee's Loss

Lucas Panzica pushes back on the criticism of Tennessee quarterback George McIntyre following the loss to South Carolina. McIntyre finished 16-of-23 for 136 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions, while three of his potential touchdown passes and more than 100 passing yards were wiped away by penalties. While his late-game fumble and fourth-down decision were costly, Lucas argues the loss was much more about Tennessee's discipline, game management and play-calling than the redshirt freshman quarterback.
