Knowing, you know, just being able to be back on the field truly was a blessing.

Uh- Yeah.

But- Right here I'm walking a fine line between being grateful just to be there and still hungry and have desires to do, things.

So that's the, that's the battle.

Is that harder to- Any mixed memories?

Any mixed memories when you go out there?

Yeah.

Like what, what goes through your head?

Like, what are you- Just warming- When you think about it just warming up.

Even from a warming up standpoint, going out there, seeing everybody, it's just a crazy I- it's a surreal feeling.

Whoa.

I'm sorry if you asked this already, but what, what was going through your mind when you stepped on the field and you heard the reaction from the crowd?

Yeah, coach.

Time to play ball, you know?

It's been a long time coming.

So I'm just excited, you know, trying to stay in the moment, be where my feet at, and make plays.

Is it harder to do that, stay in the moment and be where your feet at, than maybe you even thought it would be a month ago, two months ago when you came here?

Yeah.

You know, when it's the training camp and all those, it's a, it's a different thing.

We got a lot of guys, everybody's battling and fighting for a spot, and rotating and doing this and that, and you just gotta find a way to, whatever opportunities you do have, make the most of them.

Do you feel like it's being noticed that if you run a great route, even if the ball doesn't come to you?

Always been like that.

You know, the tape will never lie and all, all of those things.

So, the right people will see it, and if you aren't open, you aren't open.

If you are getting open, I'm sure that, you know, they'll see that.

So at the end of the day right now, the only thing that matters is recovering and getting ready for the next week, and then putting your best performance for my ass.

During the game, Joe is actually Joe Shane was on the broadcast, and he said you had a good camp, and said you've been getting open.

So, like, he obviously- Yeah and the team have noticed.

What does that mean to you?

That they see it too.

They see- That, yeah, that they see it too.

Oh, I'm glad they see it.

I've been doing it, you know?

So it feels good just to be back out there.

But I do feel pretty good.

Like, I had some time off.

My body got to heal, my mind, everything, spirit.

So like I say, it's just about putting your best foot forward now.

How many did you wish, maybe a little bit though, like- Yeah that, that one where they, it seemed like, I guess it was just slanted fields.

And, like, I guess they might have blown the coverage- Yeah, I know nobody back there.

I was like, "God, you're not gonna bless me like that today, are you?"

But you know, it, it's a blessing to be out there.

It's a blessing to be healthy.

But I thought for a second it was, it was about time to get back in that end zone, so just keep- Your eyes lit up when you saw that, did they?

Yeah, everything lit up.

And the veteran on the team- and the veteran on the team were trying to give you chances.

And just for him to be able to get in the end zone, I was happy for him.

Said, "You gotta get that ball to your son."

So, just happy for him, happy for the guys in our room.

Obviously we didn't win, but you know, just gotta get better.

How do you think you've been in training camp?

Do you think you've shown enough?

I mean, I felt good.

I feel good being out there.

I feel, you know, when you see the tape or at practice, I'm getting open.

But at the end of the day, a receiver, I always talk about this, is the most selfless position on the field.

You, you wait around all game for everybody to do their job just for five opportunities maybe.

So when they do come your way, you gotta make the most of them.

And, today it was light, so you know, we'll see what happens.

You came in on one play late, you know, threw a nice block.

I'm sure you're gonna enjoy watching that one.

Somebody gotta feel this pain.

It's been- the I've been sitting down for a minute.

I got a lot of stuff built up, so somebody gotta feel this pain
