Steelers Sign DB Israel Mukuamu: Can He Help Solve Pittsburgh's Safety Depth Problem?

Alan Saunders breaks down the Steelers' agreement to sign former Cowboys defensive back Israel Mukuamu, a 2021 sixth-round pick out of South Carolina. Saunders discusses Pittsburgh's ongoing lack of depth at safety and the absence of a true center-field free safety, noting that the team's first training camp depth chart listed no distinct free or strong safety positions as they continue running split-safety looks.
