William, your opponent birdied each of the first four holes.
Did it ever feel like he was gonna make a par out there?
It didn't, and, he parred the next and then made a s- 50-footer for par on the next hole.
So it felt, it felt tough there at the beginning, but, I was able to kind of stick to the process and manage to get a point for the US.
The wind picked up a little bit.
We saw a ton of bogeys in other matches, but you were flawless down the stretch.
What are you most proud of?
Yeah.
I chipped it really well and, you know, just kinda sticked the shot that was in front of me and didn't get ahead of myself at all, so it was good.
You got hit hard by that food poisoning, along with two of your teammates.
Yeah.
You missed Thursday practice, barely hit some balls on Friday.
Yeah.
What does it say about the toughness that you showed to be able to come out here and perform like this?
Yeah.
I was pretty proud of myself.
I'm still barely eating a little bit.
I'm not, you know, demolishing food at all at this point.
So yeah, very proud of how I played today.
