Hopefully your heavy (Canadian) Thanksgiving dinner is either well digested by now or isn't scheduled until tomorrow, because the following clip of Predators forward Viktor Arvidsson doing the Islanders dirty may induce some sickness deep in the pit of your stomach.
Just minutes into the the Preds' Saturday night clash against the Isles, the 25-year-old opened the scoring with this disgusting effort:
Picking up the puck in stride and zipping down his off wing against Ryan Pulock , Arvidsson angled his shoulders and shifted his eyes towards the middle of the ice — forcing the Isles blueliner to shift his weight to his inside leg.
With Pulock off-balance and completely out of sorts, Arvidsson kept his head and eyes facing toward the middle of the ice before utilizing a quick flick of the wrist to bring the puck between his legs and around the Isles defender.
Arvidsson, with full momentum heading towards the goal, then put a couple quick moves and a head fake on Thomas Greiss before sliding it through the wickets.
It was the first of the season for Arvidsson, who is coming off his second straight 61-point campaign.
