This 1999 example of a Ferrari 550 Maranello sold for $217,280 at the RM Sotheby's Monterey auction in 2023.

The car's Blu Tour de France color scheme for the exterior is complemented by a Sabbia leather interior that's had its switchgear's synthetic, rubberized coatings replaced.

With its 478 hp, 5.5-liter V-12 engine, the car can launch from zero to 62 mph in 4.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 199 mph.

The example shown here had 11,381 miles on it at the time it was auctioned off in 2023.

The Ferrari 550 Maranello sports car is remarkably docile but equally engaging on a twisty road or in the heat of an accelerative moment.

Production of the Ferrari 550 Maranello lasted until 2001, with 3,083 examples made in total.
