YouTuber Gets Nasty Surprise After Buying Ferrari From China In Auction

Supercar YouTuber Dave Coulterthought he had bought a Ferrari 458 for a bargain price at auction.
But when the car arrived after being imported from China, and he got inside and looked closely, there were serious problems.
Coulter revealed the problems in a video published on October 30 , titled 'I Bought a Ferrari From China… and Got SCAMMED!'.
He told his subscribers how he arranged for a local dealership to purchase a red 2010 Ferrari 458 through a Canadian dealer auction.
Coulter said: "I knew this 458 was going to be a little rough. I knew it would need a little work.
"But the more we looked the more we realized this was far worse than anyone imagined."

The dealership found mismatched seats with the wrong stitching, missing interior panels, paint overspray and imitation Ferrari parts.
On top of this, when they started the car, the engine smoked and misfired.
A further concern was that the suspension was at different heights on all four corners. Once the crew looked underneath the car, it got even worse.
One front frame rail was twisted and had been welded poorly. This damaged area was linked to the car's suspension, which raised safety concerns.
In the video, Coulter added: "Sometimes if it is too good to be true. You need to know what you are getting. There is no such thing as a cheap supercar."
Thankfully, all was not lost for him, as under British Columbia's Motor Dealer Act Regulation , dealers must disclose, to the best of their knowledge, any prior damage and the odometer's accuracy.
The video did not say who was responsible for the discrepancies in the description of the Ferrari 458 or whether any laws had been broken.
But the dealership said a refund had been arranged as the car that arrived was not as advertised in the auction. It was waiting to be picked up and taken back to China.
