We offer a rigorous (K - 8th) academic program that emphasizes the arts and technology. We have discovered that by integrating the arts and technology into our academic program we create a more hands-on learning environment that better fits the learning styles of our diverse population of students. To accomplish this, we employ only Arizona certified teachers in areas and seek out partnerships with volunteer agencies, schools of higher learning and community businesses. A variety of artists from the community work with our students creating a positive climate that celebrates the gifts of each student. Last year's test scores demonstrate that our program is successful. Recently, the Arizona Charter School Association rated our school third in the state for increasing student achievement. Federal grants provide an aide in every classroom to assist the teacher and students.

Painted Citizen is more than just a brand—it's a celebration of individuality, diversity, and the transformative power of art. We are committed to honoring women of all ages, sizes, colors, and ethnicities, because we believe beauty and expression are not confined to a singular image or ideal. At Painted Citizen, every woman is a unique work of art, and our paint is the medium through which we illuminate her individuality. There is no "one-size-fits-all" when it comes to our approach—each piece is a personal story, a reflection of the strength, grace, and beauty inherent in every woman. Our artistry celebrates the multiplicity of human experience, and we craft each design to amplify and empower the spirit it adorns. This is art for everybody. It is for those who embrace their own truth, who stand boldly in their skin, and who allow the paint to reveal their most authentic selves. Through our work, we challenge conventional norms and invite every woman to be seen—not through the lens of uniformity, but through the lens of unique expression and boundless potential. In essence, Painted Citizen is not just about painting the body—it's about painting the soul, and ensuring that every woman can see herself reflected in the art.
