The Hut
The Hut has been re-established as a BBQ restaurant and bar-it is no longer affiliated with the dive bar that once was. There was so much history surrounding the old bar that we wanted to keep the name and infuse some of the spirit of the original establishment and what it meant to the community and university. We specialize in smoked meats: tri tip, chicken, ribs, chicken wings and pulled pork. We also offer a selection of salads, sides and things to share.

This classic local joint in Los Gatos is one you would want to call a dive, but you just can not. There is something about Black Watch that renders it just a cut above that, even though sometimes bikers invade the place. It is dark as night inside, but within minutes you will get used to it. Sample one of the huge Kamikazes and put Tom Jones on the jukebox for a totally retro experience.
