After being closed for over 30 years, North Hollywood's iconic barrel bar, Idle Hour is back and what a glorious return it is. Serving signature cocktails on tap along with domestic and imported beers and shot combos, there is something for everyone here. The food menu is an eclectic mix of fancy American tit-bits that are perfect accompaniments to the alcohol. With a top-notch patio and a private party annex shaped like a giant bulldog, the Idle Hour is the perfect destination when it comes to having a casual night out with friends or just hanging out on the patio on a warm day.
Skinny's Lounge
This happy-hour and Saturday night dance club Valley stalwart combines the earthiness of a dive bar with the retro charm of a 1970s cocktail lounge. It’s all dusky lighting, plush leather, a slick stage, and a bar with the curves of a vintage Camaro. Weeknight happy hours are popular, as are weekend dance nights. On any given night, visitors might find amateur heavy metal fusion concerts, cabaret revues, DJs and fireworks, or classic rock concerts. A great option for a night out or drink with friends.
