Bar Red
Bar Red is located just east of Colfax and Glenarm, two blocks from the Colorado Convention Center and directly across Colfax from the Golden Triangle. Bar Red offers Authentic Italian cuisine. Happy hour from 4pm-7pm and dinner from 5pm to 12am. Bar Red also features occasional live music ranging from Jazz to Hip Hop, and there is never a cover charge. A semi-private lounge room is also available for large parties. The room has customizable seating and includes a working fireplace to complete the romantic, comfortable setting.
Avanti Food and Beverage is an innovative concept influenced by European food markets. It features shipping containers that house a rotating selection of food stalls and food trucks. At a given time, seven restaurants and four bars cater to diners' eclectic tastes, and serve fare as diverse as Asian noodles, Mediterranean street food and farm-fresh American dishes. The highlight is the rooftop bar that affords a good view of the adjacent street and Highland Gateway Park. At the various stalls, you can sample craft beer from little-know microbreweries, taste the chef's signature dishes, and socialize with other gastronomes. Since the stalls at this food hall keep changing, no two visits here are the same.
Upscale Sports Bar with exceptional food and service and a large selection of beers and cocktails. Rapidly becoming the area's hot spot for great food and gatherings. This patriotic-themed pub has 34 televisions with tons of sports programming to view the big game. There is a large patio for outdoor events and a private section for all your private parties and social get-togethers. The menu is upscale with creative and unique dishes, but not your average sports bar cuisine. But we do have exceptional wings and burgers!
When it closed down in 2017, fans of this lively watering hole were heartbroken. But thankfully, The Monkey Barrel didn't stay shut for long and reopened in a new place with the same vibe that attracted music and beer lovers to this bar. Decked up with a mural of the Beastie Boy along with signed music memorabilia by rock legends, this eatery and bar is a vivacious spot to down a few pints of beer, play a video game or pinball machine, partake in themed trivia or just listen to quality music. The beer taps have about 20 local brews while their food menu comprises of awesome sandwiches and burgers. They even have options for vegans.
