Sconyers Bar-B-Que was founded in 1956. When Claude and Adeline Sconyers could no longer make a living at farming they decided to give their hobby a try. With their children grown and no one to help them on the farm, they opened Sconyers Bar-B-Que on Peach Orchard Road. The small restaurant became popular with the locals. Many in Augusta would come and enjoy pork bar-b-que and hash cooked to perfection.
Based in a hotel, Capri Lounge is a good place to enjoy delectable cocktails with your group of friends. The retro setting of this place creates a perfect environment for patrons to unwind with a glass of drink after a busy week. Service staff is helpful, especially the bartenders with their expert skills. Live music performances held frequently assure a lively atmosphere here. Moreover, the outdoor swimming pool is a nice place to relax during the hot summer days.
