Open since the 1950s, the Diamond Grille is Akron's oldest steakhouse. Behind a subtle, unassuming exterior in downtown Akron, the décor reflects the classic 50s steakhouse look. The menu is traditional steak-and-seafood fare, but oriented towards specialized steaks, with filets, strip steaks, and more. Appetizers include traditional steakhouse fare such as sumptuous shrimp cocktails. The Diamond Grille is also a good place to people-watch when the PGA Tour is in Akron, as the pro-golfers often eat there. The Diamond Grille also features a full bar. Patrons should note that the Diamond Grille does not accept credit cards.
