Porcupine Pub & Grille

For the high-brow diner, this place fixes up a sassy Filet Mignon. For the casual diner, there are pizzas, sandwiches and pastas. Drink options include 20 varieties of beer, and dessert-lovers select from sweets ranging from tiramasu to vanilla bean ice cream. Although there is something for most everyone, including a separate children's menu, this pub caters to an adult clientele. Fans should be sure to visit the gift counter for Porcupine Pub & Grille shirts and hats.

The Gibson Lounge

The Gibson Lounge pays homage to the golden age of inspired libations. The décor is charmingly old world with a modern twist—plush seating, a gleaming Steinway baby grand, illustrations by Charles Dana Gibson on the walls, and a plasma screen to catch the big game.

Junior's Tavern, the little tavern, is probably the only place in Salt Lake where you can come in and listen to Duke Ellington records while enjoying your Guinness on tap. There is a long, comfortable bar and a handful of booths for you to sit down and take a load off, as well as a grand display of old-fashioned beer cans. Feel free to shoot some pool with the loyal patrons as you listen to a great selection of jazz on CDs and records. Cash only.

Twilite

If you are into sitting around, playing pool, and drinking beer; this smoky, loud bar is just the place for you. The lounge is much bigger and nicer inside than it looks from the outside, and it often fills up with regulars from all walks of life. Sandwiches, soups and salads are available during the day, but only chips and drinks are sold at night. The crowd is friendly at Twilite Lounge, so have a seat at the bar or one of the booths and shoot the breeze with the locals.
