Fardowners is the brainchild of W C Winkler and Mark Cosgrove. Named after the Irish immigrants who worked with the Blue Ridge Railway Co., it is located across the old C&O rail depot. The rough concrete floors, wooden tables and booths give it a warm and rustic look. Their modern American food and beer list is emphasised with local flavors from surrounding farms and breweries. Their menu consists of soups, pastas, salads, sliders and burgers, and entrees. These include dishes like Hippie Wings, Pigs on the Wing, Timbercreek Organics Beef and Bacon-Wrapped Sirloin Filet.
