For years, the place was a dark, crowded bar surrounded by a narrow row of tables. The crowd was both gay and straight, but uniformly conventional in dress that is T-shirts and jeans and taste which has greasy appetizers and burger specials. Recently, however, the Deluxe underwent a makeover in favor of a sunny, spacious feel with blond wood trim. Thankfully, the clientele hasn't changed much and burgers still top the menu.
