An absolute favorite of local schools and children, the Martial Arts Museum offers educational experiences in how martial arts have shaped history and traditions all over the world. Parts of the museum pay attention to the history of Anime and ways in which martial arts have impacted media arts in the United States. Kids would love to behold the headband from the Karate Kid movie and exhibits dedicated to the traditional Samurai order. It also goes to show American history’s co-opting, including and assuming of Oriental history as its own through the martial arts.
