We are proud to be a Community Theater! Wikapedia says community theater is "understood to contribute to the social capital of a community, insofar as it develops the skills, community spirit, and artistic sensibilities of those who participate, whether as producers or audience-members". Our goal is to offer quality, affordable, talented performances in an intimate setting (87 comfortable theater seats) including a variety of plays and musicals- while showcasing the local talents of the many actors in Southern California who perform unpaid because of their passion to the art. By participating in our shows these actors hone their skills, stretch their abilities as they rehearse and then perform (some for the first time). Our team of directors, choreographers, and staff help teach, coordinate, and mold our casts into terrific and well received shows. All in a friendly accepting environment that makes the Attic a unique, warm, and fun place for both the actors and the audience.
