Carolyn Parr Nature Museum

Learn about the flora and fauna of Napa Valley at the Carolyn Parr Nature Museum. Located on the edge of Westwood Hills, the museum is a part of the Carolyn Parr Nature Center. Get acquainted with the natural heritage of woodland, marshes, grasslands and other natural habitats of plants and animals in the region, along with an array of minerals and rocks. Both permanent and temporary exhibits are enriching and informative. Check out tour details on the Nature Center’s website.

Colores De Napa Valley

This is a bilingual space where creativity, culture, and community grow side by side. We mix more than just paint here—we mix our stories, our traditions, and our dreams. Whether we are painting fall leaves or butterflies, our workshops celebrate the colors that make Napa Valley—and each of our young artists—completely unique. We’re here to help the next generation believe in their voice. We can't wait to create with you.

The Art Nest

We help children slow down, connect with nature, and discover the world through art and sensory exploration. Our Reggio Emilia-inspired approach follows each child's natural curiosity, building projects around their unique interests and questions about the world around them. Morning Programs (Ages 1-5): Little ones enjoy rich sensory and nature play experiences, along with circle time filled with songs, music, and mindfulness. We explore painting, collage, clay, and building with natural and recycled materials—all at a toddler's pace. Afternoon Classes (Ages 5-10): Older children dive deeper into nature-based art, learning techniques like drawing with pastels and charcoal, hand-building with clay, and creating with found materials. Projects emerge from what captivates them—whether that's insects, weather, plants, or the changing seasons. Weekend Pop-Ups (All Ages): We offer special family-friendly sessions where children of all ages can create together in nature. Everything happens in a beautiful natural setting where children have time and space to notice, wonder, and create. We believe childhood should be unhurried, and that the best learning happens when children are fully present in the moment, hands in the dirt, eyes on the details that adults often miss.
