Immerse yourself in Van Gogh's artwork like you've never seen it before.
The Art Group of North County (AGNC) is a loosely organized, informal group of approximately 20 local artists. We normally meet every week on Wednesdays for coffee/breakfast from about 9:00-11:00 am. Time is spent on discussion and/or sharing information about techniques, local exhibits, critiquing artwork, and providing support. The group is open to all local artists, and there is no fee to join.
Nathan McWhitney (live typewriter poet) adds vintage charm and literary elegance to your wedding reception (or any event). He writes custom (bespoke) poetry on a vintage typewriter based on the topics guests offer and the conversations that unfold. Guests love photographing his aesthetic table and going home with a one of a kind piece of literary art.

I am a community artist that specialize in teaching studio arts to all ages. I help support students who benefit from personal art instruction to grow in not only technique, but also understanding. I studied Studio Arts at SDSU where I focused on painting and illustration. I teach fundamentals such as drawing and painting in various mediums. I have longtime students who take me to build up their portfolios and practice their skills with. My art teaching is specific to my student's artistic goals. The other part of my business is that I host two hour paint party events. I have fun with people as we navigate through an image of their choosing. I provide all the supplies and know-how and my clients (kids or adults) provide the interest and we have a good time! What sets me apart from other places is that my time and effort comes back to my community. If you are ever in Mira Mesa and noticed the painted electrical boxes that is a project I started to beautify the area.
