The Green Art House started out with the conceptualization of a fine art gallery with a classroom in the back, but the more the founding members discussed it, the more clearly they could visualize what The Green Art House has actually and eventually gone on to become. They now envision a wide array of art classes, symposia, workshops and instruction course-based programs expounded by experts locally and from the world over. Artists of all ages, walks of life and strata of society are welcome, be it a dabbler, a novice, an amateur or an expert.
The Blue Heron Gallery hosts works by several artists and seeks to bring in a wide variety of works for people to enjoy. Those works range from paintings to photography, silver to pottery, and various other types of art. The Blue Heron Gallery will gladly open for those unable to make it to their showroom during their regular hours, Though they have regular business hours and do not require reservations, they host eight to ten shows a year, so they recommend reservations. The Blue Heron Gallery also buys art from artists and collectors they do not normally work with.
