Since opening in 2017, K Contemporary has cultivated an environment in the historic LoDo district of Denver where artists find inspiration to be even more creative and art connoisseurs learn something new and find their next obsession. Founded by artist, curator, collector, and gallerist Doug Kacena, the gallery explores meaningful topics through engaging exhibitions, pop-up events, and art fairs. Through these immersive and expansive displays, K Contemporary acts as a catalyst to recontextualize how people talk about and experience art.
Woodward Studios is Denver native Andrew Woodward's painting studio and multipurpose art gallery, featuring charcuterie boards & furniture by Jessica Woodward, brass jewelry by Manjiro Designs, Fifty State Animals headquarters, live music and cultural events. Established in 2010, run by the artist Niza Knoll, this gallery strives to feature emerging artists across a wide variety of media: photography, ceramics, painting, printmaking. A smaller art co-op, The Mix, is located in the back of the gallery.
