Viva Performing Arts Center is a dance studio serving Tucson's Southside area. Based in Tucson, Ariz., it is a dance and music school that teaches a variety of dance forms, such as Mexican folklorico, ballet tap, jazz, hip-hop, voice and Zumba fitness. The studio features floating dance floors and spacious waiting rooms. Viva Performing Arts Center also offers a year-end recital at a local theater and offers its students with the opportunity to demonstrate their accomplishments.
These are ongoing classes where anyone can join, no previous experience necessary. It covers all aspects of Capoeira; martial-arts, dance, music, abrobatics, culture, language and more. It focuses on developing the students rhythm, reflexes, balance, co-ordination and increasing strength and flexibility as they learn.
