Welcome to Dance for Kids and Brentwood Academy of Dance! Our vision is to be a safe place for children and teens to grow and explore, encouraging a love of dance and nurturing life through movement. Dance for Kids was voted one of the top 100 Dance Studios in the United States by Dance Magazine. Classes start at age 2 with Mommy & Me and our dancers stay with us all the way through high school! Classes for our youngest dancers build coordination and motor skills that will benefit students for a lifetime. We encourage creativity, rhythm, balance and listening skills in a fun environment. As students grow they learn ballet, tap, tumbling, and then move on to add jazz, contemporary/lyrical, acrobatics, and hip-hop. Students (from K-12) looking for elite training and lots of opportunities to perform have an opportunity to join our competition and performance teams. Our competition teams: Brentwood Academy of Dance (BAD) The BAD performance and competition teams have been entertaining audiences and successfully competing all over Southern California. In competitions, they regularly receive Platinum medal awards for their outstanding performances and choreography. DFK and BAD are now widely recognized as one of the most successful and creative studios for dance instruction in Southern California.
