Performances, Classes, Community Outreach Ormao Dance Company is an innovative, inclusive and noncompetitive home for dance and the arts in downtown Colorado Springs. We have been the resident professional dance company since 1990. We love to perform, but helping you find your dance groove is our greatest joy! We develop all ages and abilities with inclusive dance classes as well as support students with brain injuries and chronic illnesses. Our community outreach programs for local schools creatively combine dance with core subjects. We believe in the artistic, developmental, and holistic healing properties of modern dance. Young students blossom into leaders who value collaboration and creativity. Adult students thrive with improved morale, healthy bodies and healing. Professional performances are wildly original; from construction zones, art museums and abandoned warehouses to theaters. Ormao collaborations expand the language of dance!
Colorado Ballet Society provides aspiring dancers with superior training in a teaching environment that challenges the individual to attain new levels of excellence. Classes are offered for advanced, intermediate, and beginning dancers in classical ballet, contemporary, jazz, Broadway, character, hip hop, tap, and acro. Summer classes are available in all disciplines, with special programs including Ballet Intensive; themed dance weeks for younger dancers; Broadway Workshop and Worship Dance Workshop for all levels. Colorado Ballet Society locations include our state-of-the-art facility with six full-sized teaching and rehearsal studios at 8570 Criterion Drive, Suite 154 (across from the Briargate Post Office in northeast C/S) and our second location at the new Peak Gymnastics & Fitness facility on 10611 Maltese Point, Falcon, CO. Ballet Society promotes health and excellence in training as it encourages cooperation and community for all of its students and their families. Companies in residence include Colorado Youth Ballet; Connexus Dance Collective; Elevate Productions, which received an award from the Pikes Peak Arts Council in 2017 for their inaugural musical theatre production The Music Man; and Praise Dance Ensemble.

Muse Dance
We teach wedding dance for couples and wedding groups. We welcome newcomers and people of all abilities, and we work with you teach movements accessible to the individuals dancing. At Muse Dance, we return to the roots of dance to express our authentic selves.

The most important goal of the Dance Unlimited Family is to create a caring atmosphere where knowledge can be shared and friendships and memories made while developing talent and adding to self-esteem and good character. Not all Dance Unlimited students will grow up to be professionals in the field of performing arts. But the skills and principles they learn, the teamwork, discipline, creativity, expressive qualities, enthusiasm and most of all honesty and commitment are important lessons carried into everything they will do.
