Established in 2013, The Atlanta School of Burlesque is owned and operated by award-winning professional Burlesque performers, producers, and teachers! We believe that burlesque isn’t defined by size, ability, color or age - it is an artform that is for everyone. From drop-in classes, private dance lessons, to our Burlesque Academy, we'll get you hooked on classic burlesque glamour, musical theatre, neo-classic burlesque, and Las Vegas-style Bump & Grind for some of the best burlesque experiences you'll have! Our Atlanta Burlesque Academy is designed to integrate up and coming performers and producers into the broader Burlesque industry. Students progress through our Academy with final graduation occurring with either a fully realized solo performance, or by producing a fully realized production. Semesters are typically 12-16 weeks. As an institution dedicated to burlesque education, it is of the utmost importance that we provide our students opportunities to learn! If you're looking for things to do in Atlanta, The Atlanta School of Burlesque offers Atlanta burlesque shows, burlesque classes, burlesque parties, corporate entertainment and more!
Fred Astaire Dance Studios specializes in all forms of partnership dancing. We teach social dancing, as well as competitive, and show dancing. Many wedding couples have also gotten their first dance ready with us, and we answer any questions for them related to the reception, music, and dancing. Our studios have had the honor of winning many top studio awards at major competitions. The instructors are trained constantly by the best coaches in the business, and are all full time as a vital part of our being a full service dance studio. Dance studios may come and go, but Fred Astaire Dance Studios first started teaching Atlanta to dance in the 1970's and plans to be around for decades to come!
