Irish Dance Idaho focuses on teaching Irish Dance (in the Muenster style - like Riverdance). Irish step consists of hard shoe, soft shoe, group dances, and traditional "set" and "ceili" dances. A ceili dance is a traditional soft shoe group dance. Every style of Irish Dance has it's own rules for rhythm and technique. With the exception of the two kinds of traditional dances, every Irish Dance school has choreography that is unique to their individual group. For Irish Dance Idaho, our unique and specific focus is performing arts.
