The Dance Place Studio's mission is to provide students with experiences that develop dance techniques, self-esteem, confidence, and creativity. We aim to instill an appreciation for the art of dance within a safe, comfortable studio environment. We offer beginner through advanced training in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary, musical theater, acrobatics, modern, and creative movement. Competition opportunities are available to students looking to further their dance training.
Chickee's Dance World has been operating since October 1983. Located at Worcester, Massachusetts. We provide a comfortable atmosphere for which the students feel at home, therefore making dance easily learned. Because our instructors are very personable, it allows the students and parents the opportunity to build a relationship with their teacher. All of us at Chickee's Dance World feel it is necessary to be concerned not only with the dance instruction but with the students level of self-confidence. Our program provides Dance education for dancers ages 18 months to adult. We provide a safe and fun learning environment for students interested in recreational and competitive dance. We offer classes at both our Leicester and Worcester locations.
Welcome/Bienvenidos! Since being established in 2002, the Ritmos Academy mission has been to preserve Latin American culture through dance across the New England area. Ritmos dancers range in ages 4-20 learn both folkloric and modern styles of Latin dance from Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Columbia, and Cuba. Ritmos first opened its doors on 344 Chandler Street in Worcester, MA, under the direction of Hilda Ramirez. In 2011, long-time student Masielle Paulino volunteered to continue the Ritmos' mission, and in 2015 Ritmos relocated to 70 Webster St. Worcester, MA. Today, the growing Ritmos family aims to continue this mission. We educate others about Latino history as well as provide affordable dance instruction, numerous travel and performance opportunities all within a family-oriented atmosphere.
PSM offers an array of exciting private and group lessons in Foxtrot, Swing, Cha Cha, Merengue, Salsa, Waltz, Tango, Rumba, Quickstep, Viennese Waltz, Bolero, and Disco! Newly engaged couples can take advantage of wedding preparation lessons to make their first dance as 'Mr. and Mrs.' extremely memorable. Already into ballroom dancing but want some tips on cleaning up your style? Reserve your spot at one of PSM's seminars and/or workshops taught by international dance master Bill Morganti. Friday Nights at PSM are fabulously fun with weekly Dance Parties starting that include a forty-five minute lesson followed by two-hours of free-style ballroom fun. Refreshments are always served. Partners are not required. Whether it's for fun or fitness, competitive Dancesport training or for your 'Big Day', PSM will have you dancing towards your goals one step at a time.
