Whether it's for a special occasion like a wedding or gala, or just for fun, we offer all types of social/ballroom dance - latin american (rumba, salsa, bachata, chacha, samba, tango) and smooth (waltz, foxtrot, quickstep, viennese waltz). Our teachers also teach competitive ballroom dancing alongside "social dancing" so there's something here for everyone. A large part of our studio include thousands of wedding couples looking to prepare their special dance, whether a basic routine or a more advanced set. We offer private lessons or those in a group setting, whichever suits your preferences and your schedule. Everybody dances at Dance Baltimore! Now in its 20th year, Dance Baltimore continues its program of adult dance classes in every dance style--modern, jazz, liturgical, ballet, African, Latin, pole, yoga, belly dance, you name it, we bring it! Adult classes run in four week sessions to fit into your busy schedule with performance opportunities available. Periodic master classes or special sessions also offered in case you just want to test the waters. Classes are low cost with free sessions monthly. Most classes scheduled in our Pikesville location on Thursday evenings and/or Sunday afternoons. Special sessions frequently scheduled in East Baltimore at the Creative Alliance.
