We teach swing dancing, specifically the Lindy Hop. That's all we do and we believe we are the best in town at doing it. Our instructors hold first place titles at the International Lindy Hop Championships, the American Lindy Hop Championships, the US Open Swing Dance Championships, & the Ultimate Lindy Hop Showdown among others. We have 20+ combined years of national and international level instruction under our belts and we use that experience to make a super fun and welcoming experience for all of our students. We will get you moving and dancing right away and if you give us a month or two, we will make a Lindy Hopper out of you - join us!
The Cassandra School of Middle Eastern Dance offers year-round classes in Middle Eastern dance in Minneapolis, Bloomington, and St. Paul, MN. Our Minneapolis and St. Paul locations are handicapped-accessible. We teach more than 1000 students during the four ten-week terms each year, with students attending class weekly during each term. At The Cassandra School we have many different classes including: Middle Eastern dance classes for beginners through professionals Technique intensive Ballet for belly dancers The curriculum builds through multiple levels designed to challenge dancers and inspire them to develop and grow. Beginning classes provide a solid foundation in Middle Eastern dance and music. We even have our some of our instructors choreograph unique pieces specifically designed for their classes.
