It was 1949 when Lucille Rapp started teaching dance in her basement and holding recitals in her backyard. As her business grew she realized she needed a bigger space and eventually moved to our current location in downtown Kirkwood. Lucille Rapp's daughter, Susie, was a dancer herself and enjoyed a successful performance-based career before taking over the family business. Our current director, Vicky Stricker, joined the teaching staff in 1983 and when Susie was ready to take a step back from running things, Vicky eagerly stepped in.

We have been teaching greater St. Louis to dance since 1991. We are mainly a Ballroom Dance Studio but our children's classes offer additional choices. We also have formation teams that perform at various locations in the area.
