We offer a complete curriculum ranging in courses for girls and boys ages 2 1/2 to Adult in a Non-Competitive, Family environment in the following classes: Tap, Jazz, Classical Ballet, Pointe, Acrobatics, Hip-Hop, Modern, Lyrical, Boys Dance, Adults and Special Children's Program focusing on Creative Movement. We also offer private lessons for preparation for Performing Arts School Auditions. The Fall Season runs from September to June, and we also have a separate Summer Session in July. The Staff will assess the children to make sure they are placed at the appropriate level. Founded in 1972, VSPAC has provided Brooklyn with the finest in dance and music education. Regardless of whether a student wishes to pursue dance as a career or participate for personal development and enjoyment, we are committed to offering each student an education that is based on the traditions around the world. All students are enrolled in classes that are suitable for their individual ability. Each student receives a placement evaluation by the teacher and/or director. We are proud to provide a strong foundation which develops students physically, intellectually, culturally, emotionally, and socially through the discipline dance and music.
Ballet Academy East offers ballet classes for all ages in its Young Dancer, Children & Teen, Pre-Professional, and Adult Divisions. The school also rents studio space for rehearsals and classes.
Dance instruction for Children ages 18 months through teens - including: Tot movement classes, Pre School creative dance and tumbling, Kindergarten combo classes in ballet/jazz/tap, ages 6+ classes in ballet, tap, jazz/hip hop, modern, acro-jazz. and musical theatre.
